We are already in September, and in a time where life is returning to 'normal'. As a result, we all have a year or so of "lost" time to catch up on, with family, friends, colleagues, and holidays!

Are you feeling overwhelmed? Claustrophobic? Restricted?

Are all the demands of work, family and friends leaving you with no space and time for yourself (even if they are welcome demands)? Are you feeling like you don't have room to breathe?

We live in a culture that at the best of times requires us to overextend ourselves and deplete our resources while we get the job done and live life to the max with a smile on our face. Not only are we in a time where that expectation remains, but we are also (sometimes without realising it), carrying our friends and families through these uncertain times, and navigating what is a changed world the best we can.

All of this can leave us feeling overwhelmed, tired and stressed. Full of anxiety, worry, and a feeling of being lost, without knowing why.

What we offer

What we offer in this breathwork workshop, is an opportunity for you to spend some time on you, for you to take a moment to reset, and to find some space without the overwhelm.

Sometimes the way that we need to create space in our lives is a physical need. We need to clean our house, organise our office, tidy our finances, or be outside surrounded by nature.

Other times, the need we have for space is a need for us to create space within our own minds and bodies. We need our thoughts to slow down, to stop crowding the silent moments we have, and we need to stop and breathe.

Breathwork Healing

Breathwork takes you on a journey to find and reclaim yourself. In other words, it allows you to get out of your busy mind, experience release and come into stillness and clarity.

How it works: Breathwork is an activating meditation technique that uses your breath to release the body’s stored emotions, hurts, traumas, fears, anxieties, grief and shame.

Breathwork connects us to our innate ability to change the environment of our cells, to disrupt the thought patterns that no longer serve us, therefore giving us access to and responsibility over our ability to heal and change ourselves and our lives. Like water moving downstream dislodges rocks, stones and mud along the banks of the river, similarly, the breath moves (and sometimes roars) through our bodies, loosening and dislodging the old stuck debris of emotion, patterns, doubts, and anything else that is ready to move out of our systems – bringing greater clarity and calm in its wake.

Our time together

We will be together for 2 hours. This workshop aims to leave you with a clear mind, a feeling of calm, freedom, and space, and the energy to face life with more ease. You'll also leave with a few simple tools that you can use in your day-to-day life.

This Breathwork is done laying down on a yoga mat. Comfortable loose clothing, and a blanket are ideal to make the experience more comfortable. An eye pillow or scarf can help you to go inwards if you find that light coming through your closed eyelids distracts you.

You may also wish to bring a notebook and a pen, in case you receive any insights you would like to record.

What do I need to bring?

  • Yoga mat (if you do not have one, we can provide shorter gym mats, but you may wish to bring something to lay on top of the mat)

  • A blanket (if you want to feel cosy, or tend to get cold, bring an extra blanket)

  • An eye pillow or scarf (optional)

  • Notebook

  • Pen

  • Water bottle (optional)

This session is suitable for all levels.

If you have never done this before, don’t worry, we will take you through anything else you need to know at the start of our session. You can also contact us with any questions you have beforehand.

About Shanti

Shanti spent over a decade as a city lawyer in London and New York City, with a deep curiosity and commitment to training in energy healing modalities and yoga in her free time. Shanti now runs a practice as an intuitive spiritual healer and teacher, working with driven, successful people who feel frustrated and stuck, and are passionate about making a positive contribution to the world. She helps them to regain their joy, confidence and clarity around who they are, what they want to contribute, and how they want to live their lives. She weaves different practices and teachings into her work, including ThetaHealing, Breathwork, Reiki, Qi Gong and Yoga and has found that tapping into our own beautiful breath is a powerful doorway into all of these practices.
