Since I first started flying as a very young child, I have heard this advice in one way or another, hundreds of times in my life...each time an aeroplane was prepped to take off down the runway.

Over the last few decades, the utility of this as an analogy has come into play, and I appreciate it's simplicity. It is so obvious that navigating life, both personally and professionally can potentially become overwhelming and unmanageable if you do not take care of your needs first. Equally, it is incredibly easy to forget this basic tenet, and to give outwardly before we give to ourselves.

One of our foundational needs is for love, and the first place that has to start, is with self-love. In order to really be able to give love freely and wholeheartedly, we have to know what it feels like to love ourselves (which includes knowing what it feels like to be safe in our own body and mind, and knowing what it feels like to receive the support that is available to us - whether from ourselves, others, our planet, our universe…)

On Tuesday, February 20th, join me in an online group breathwork class to inquire into how you bring more trust into your body, mind, and spirit.

We will breathe to deepen your connection to yourself, and invite your body to release anything that is blocking you from receiving love, safety, and support.

In the meantime, here are some questions you may want to spend some time with. If the answers surprise you, perhaps giving yourself permission to land into your breath in a new way might support you.

When do I feel love? From whom? How do I know it is love?

Do I feel safe in my vulnerability and authenticity?

Do I feel supported in the unknown?

This breathwork class is an opportunity for you to find the places where you can learn to trust yourself and your heart again...
